About the building
A long history
Perron 1 is Museum Skanderborg's main venue, housed in the old post office building at Skanderborg Station. It is the kind of place you can drop into for ten minutes and end up staying for two hours.
This building has been a lot of things. A post office. A waiting room. A place where the town passed through on its way somewhere else. Now it is a museum — and somehow that feels exactly right. We moved here in 2020 and we have been building something new ever since.
